The 7th Ward service center along with CHI 311 is committed to improving access to city services available to the community. Request the following services: Abandoned Auto, Economic Development, Forestry, Garbage Carts, Graffiti, Infrastructure, Lights, Parking, People with Disabilities, Police, Pot Holes, Rodent Issues, Sewers Social Services, Family & Support Services, Streets & Sanitation, Troubled buildings, Transportation, Vacant Lots, Water Management, Weed Cutting and more. To submit a service request, please complete a service request form on the CHI 311 site.

SERVICES FOR SENIORS
Chicago Department of Family and Support Services ("FSS") provides a variety of social, educational and recreational activities and programs for the senior community throughout Chicago.

CITY CLERK
City Clerk Anna M. Valencia's office serves as the City of Chicago's online payment portal, providing a convenient and secure platform for residents and businesses to make payments related to city services and obligations.

START A BUSINESS
The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) ensures a fair and vibrant marketplace for businesses, workers and consumers in the City of Chicago.

PEST CONTROL
The City of Chicago's Pest Control Program managed by the Department of Streets and Sanitation, is a proactive and comprehensive initiative aimed at managing and mitigating pest-related challenges within the city.

PAY TICKETS
The City of Chicago's online payment portal, providing a convenient and secure platform for residents and businesses to make various payments related to city services and obligations.

FIND CPS LOCATIONS
A valuable tool provided by the Chicago Public Schools system. It serves as a user-friendly school locator resource for anyone interested in identifying the educational options available within the City of Chicago.

HAVE A GARAGE SALE
Chicagoans planning to hold garage, yard and apartment sales can obtain their required permits at any of the city's 50 Aldermen ward offices. Locations of the ward offices can also be obtained by calling 311.

CHICAGO PARK DISTRICTS
The Chicago Park District is your gateway to the vibrant and diverse world of Chicago's public parks and recreational facilities. The Park District provides resources and a wealth of information for residents and guests.

BLUE CART SCHEDULE
Chicagoans can easily find up-to-date schedules for their blue cart recycling pickups, ensuring they know when to set out their recyclables for collection. Detailed maps will be provided to help residents identify their specific collection zones and routes.

GARBAGE COLLECTION
Residential Garbage produced from 600,000 households in single-family homes or apartment buildings of four units or less (others must arrange for private garbage collection).
Pick-ups are weekly, Mondays through Fridays.

STREET SWEEPING SCHEDULE
Chicago utilizes mechanical street sweepers to remove debris and litter from streets.
Residential Streets Sweeping program is underway.  Please see your Ward map & schedule for sweeping dates.
Residents can view street sweepers in real time using the Sweeper Tracker online tool.

APPLY FOR A BUILDING PERMIT
Permits issued by the Department of Buildings help to ensure construction work complies with the minimum standards of safety established by the Chicago Construction Codes in order to protect public health, safety, and welfare. A permit is required before beginning most construction, demolition, and repair work.
